Dan Bootzin is an editor, writer, director and producer. His films include the award-winning short Six Point NIne (Golden Bear for Best Short, Berlin International Film Festival) and Apartment 12, a romantic comedy starring Mark Ruffalo (winner Best Feature - Birmingham Film Festival, Best Director - Phoenix Film Festival)Dan is also a commercial editor, who ran Venice Beach Editorial, the in-house editorial company for advertising agency TBWA/CHIAT. Dan won an Emmy for his work on the iconic Apple spot Think Different, as well as working on countless national brand spots and campaigns.Along with partner Elizabeth Rivera-Bootzin, Dan is working on several projects through their production company, Los Feliz Films. They completed a package of humorous commercials in New Mexico, and are in a production on a documentary project entitled Sympathy for the Undertaker, a look at Elizabeths experience growing up in a small-town funeral home. They have also partnered with producer & co-creator Ric Torres II in the development of a television sitcom project (Son Of A Judge!) about the comedic misadventures of a hot shot lawyer forced to move back home with his domineering retired judge father..
