Lincoln-Alexander - Lincoln Alexander served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in World War II. He was the first Black Canadian to be elected to the House of Commons in 1968. He was named Federal Minister of Labour in 1979. In 1985 he was named as Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, a position he held until 1991.He currently serves as Chancellor of the University of Guelph, the Alma Mater of Andromeda star Laura Bertram..
