Louis-Antonelli - Louis Antonelli is a veteran of the International film community for over 20 years. He has written, designed, and directed theatrical and television films through his independent companies Grand Cinema, and Quadrama Film, as well as many International production companies. He began his professional career at age 17 while still a student at Gordon Technical High School in Chicago with the theatrical release of his celebrated short film The Game. He continued his studies at Columbia College, The American Film Institute in Washington, D.C.,and The Maine Photographic Institute. Antonelli has made 21 independent films since 1982, many of which have been honored with awards and/or screenings at The Chicago International Film Festival, WorldFest Houston, The San Francisco Film Festival, The Berlin Film Festival, and The Venice Film Festival. He has won two prestigious Telly Awards (1993 & 2005), and was named Poet/1990 for outstanding creative writing by the World Of Poetry, San Francisco Ca. His written works have been published Internationally since 1990 exclusively by VIA/Voices In Italian Americana. In 1994, Antonelli began a three year project to restore and reissue Ida Lupinos Film Noir Classic, The Hitch-Hiker(1953), working with The Roan Group, and The Library Of Congress. Louis Antonelli is a member of NARAS, SMPTE, and a SAG signatory. He was also recently featured in the film,Chicago Filmmakers On The Chicago River by Director D.P.
